Terex representatives visit asphalt plants in Venezuela

After four years exploring the asphalt world, the government of Bolívar keeps quality patterns in its three asphalt plants, say the representatives of Terex. They visited three asphalt plants in Heres, Caroni and Piar and, in addition, had the chance to corroborate the quality of services rendered by the government by driving on the “Ciudad Bolívar –Puerto Ordaz” highway and all the way back.
Asphaltic services were initially in charge of the Maintenance and General Services Department and afterwards a new administrative office was created. Currently, the Autonomous Service of Asphalt Bolivar, directed by Magda Uzategui, is the institution in charge of asphalt regularization and services, which is very good news, considering the conditions of the asphalt plants are great according to the representatives.
Despite his busy schedule in Caroni, governor Francisco Rangel Gómez met the Maintenance and General Services Secretary, Sérgio Hernández and the Terex representatives Liege Olmos, (Trade Analyst), Ángel Gadea (Post-Sales Manager) and Carlos Luciani (Sales Manager), as well as Rimcov C.A. agents in Venezuela.
Terex representatives talked to the regional magistracy chief about the asphalt quality in Bolívar State and offered cooperation in order to keep personnel updated with new technologies. Terex Trade Analyst, Liege Olmos, was amazed during her visit to the asphalt plants by the motivation of well-trained workers: “they know processes and plants very well and are really dedicated to their daily work”. Moreover, she says asphalt plants are really well preserved as a result of the “maintenance stops” proposed by the government.
